Using Creative Therapies to Support Wellbeing

About

My name is Vanessa

I am a dedicated social worker, specialising in creative therapies to support both adults and children in navigating life's challenges and fostering healthy emotional expression. Additionally, I am an author of children's books, crafting stories that help young readers understand and cope with difficult emotions and life circumstances, such as illness within the family.

Social Workers are experts in maintaining or improving participants' social functioning. This refers to an individual's desired capacity to interact, communicate, and form relationships with others, manage social roles and responsibilities, and engage in their community and daily life.

It encompasses the skills needed to navigate social situations, maintain personal relationships, and participate in activities that contribute to a sense of belonging and well-being.
